mes ports PCI ne fonctionnent plus

Bonjour,

Je suis possesseur d'une carte mère Asus A8n-SLI avec un athlon 64
3000+ et chipset nforce4. Dès le début, j'ai installé Linux (fedora
3). Ma carte son PCI SB live 1024, et ma carte réseau PCI
supplémentaire (parce qu'il y a déjà un port ethernet gigabits
intégré) 3com était reconnues sans problème.

Et un beau jour, après un redémarrage, kudzu m'indique que ces 2
cartes ont été enlevées du système ... alors qu'en fait, elles y sont
toujours ! Je les ai bien sûr enlevé puis remise, rien n'y fait. J'ai
également essayé avec d'autres cartes PCI, toujours rien, kudzu ne
remarque pas qu'il y a de nouvelles carte de branchées.

Récemment j'ai participé à une LAN. J'ai installé Windows. Et là, le
même soucis, aucune des cartes PCI que j'ai branché n'été reconnu, non
pas qu'il y avait des points d'exclamation dans le navigateur de
matériels, non, RIEN DE RIEN ! Pas même de petits message m'indiquant
un erreur de matériel, RIEN !

Petites précisions, mais qui ne change pas grand chose au problème,
les drivers nForce que j'ai installé étaient les derniers, sous Linux,
comme sous Windows. Kudzu, m'a aussi indiqué que le port firewire
avait été enlevé du système ... le firewire qui est integré à la carte
mère ... allez comprendre. Je n'ais pas pu testé ça, n'ayant pas de
matos fw.

Bonjour,

Je suis possesseur d'une carte mère Asus A8n-SLI avec un athlon 64
3000+ et chipset nforce4. Dès le début, j'ai installé Linux (fedora
3). Ma carte son PCI SB live 1024, et ma carte réseau PCI
supplémentaire (parce qu'il y a déjà un port ethernet gigabits
intégré) 3com était reconnues sans problème.

Et un beau jour, après un redémarrage, kudzu m'indique que ces 2
cartes ont été enlevées du système ... alors qu'en fait, elles y sont
toujours ! Je les ai bien sûr enlevé puis remise, rien n'y fait. J'ai
également essayé avec d'autres cartes PCI, toujours rien, kudzu ne
remarque pas qu'il y a de nouvelles carte de branchées.

Récemment j'ai participé à une LAN. J'ai installé Windows. Et là, le
même soucis, aucune des cartes PCI que j'ai branché n'été reconnu, non
pas qu'il y avait des points d'exclamation dans le navigateur de
matériels, non, RIEN DE RIEN ! Pas même de petits message m'indiquant
un erreur de matériel, RIEN !

Petites précisions, mais qui ne change pas grand chose au problème,
les drivers nForce que j'ai installé étaient les derniers, sous Linux,
comme sous Windows. Kudzu, m'a aussi indiqué que le port firewire
avait été enlevé du système ... le firewire qui est integré à la carte
mère ... allez comprendre. Je n'ais pas pu testé ça, n'ayant pas de
matos fw.

j'ai eu ça à 2 reprise sur 2 abit kd7a differente pourtant, fait un peu
bizarre achetée à 2 endroits differents et en plus les 2 magasins n'ont
pas les mêmes fournisseurs.
resultat: avoir chez le 1er vendeur te achat à la place d'un HDD
recent.
et l'autre, changement par la même et depuis plus de problème.
donc fait toi la changer.

Bonjour.
J'ai un problème identique avec une MSI K8N neo4, donc avec le même Chipset
nForce4.
Pas de détection d'une carte modem (utile en cas de panne ADSL) que j'ai
testée sur plusieurs port PCI !!
Rien vu dans le BIOS qui puisse être lié.

même soucis, aucune des cartes PCI que j'ai branché n'été reconnu, non
pas qu'il y avait des points d'exclamation dans le navigateur de
matériels, non, RIEN DE RIEN ! Pas même de petits message m'indiquant
un erreur de matériel, RIEN !

Petites précisions, mais qui ne change pas grand chose au problème,
les drivers nForce que j'ai installé étaient les derniers, sous Linux,
comme sous Windows. Kudzu, m'a aussi indiqué que le port firewire
avait été enlevé du système ... le firewire qui est integré à la carte
mère ... allez comprendre. Je n'ais pas pu testé ça, n'ayant pas de
matos fw.

Bonjour.
J'ai un problème identique avec une MSI K8N neo4, donc avec le même Chipset
nForce4.
Pas de détection d'une carte modem (utile en cas de panne ADSL) que j'ai
testée sur plusieurs port PCI !!
Rien vu dans le BIOS qui puisse être lié.

Récemment j'ai participé à une LAN. J'ai installé Windows. Et là, le
même soucis, aucune des cartes PCI que j'ai branché n'été reconnu, non
pas qu'il y avait des points d'exclamation dans le navigateur de
matériels, non, RIEN DE RIEN ! Pas même de petits message m'indiquant
un erreur de matériel, RIEN !

Petites précisions, mais qui ne change pas grand chose au problème,
les drivers nForce que j'ai installé étaient les derniers, sous Linux,
comme sous Windows. Kudzu, m'a aussi indiqué que le port firewire
avait été enlevé du système ... le firewire qui est integré à la carte
mère ... allez comprendre. Je n'ais pas pu testé ça, n'ayant pas de
matos fw.

un reset cmos et si elles sont quand même en etat et operationnelle,

Entre temps, j'ai fais quelques petits choses pour tenté de regler mon
problème :


_ J'ai remis les paramètres du bios par défaut ---> rien
_ J'ai flashé le bios de ma carte mère passant de la version 1001 à
1004 ---> le problème reste entier
_ Je suis allé l'échanger au magasin (un mois après la date d'achat,
les stock ont dû bouger depuis). Je l'installe, mes carte PCI sont
reconnues, mais dans la soirée, elles ne l'étaient plus ... --->
fausse joie


J'ai remarqué qu'au démarrage, juste après la décompression du noyau,
un message d'erreur :

PCI device 0000:05:00 has unknow header type 55, ignoring
PCI 0000:07:00 class ffff doesn't match header type 02 Ignoring class

Si ça parle à quelqu'un ...


Donc en gros, rien de nouveau. J'ai écrit à Asus et j'attends une
réponse.

moi j'y verrais une carte PCI en court circuit qui grille la CM.
Faudrait tenter sur la duree : nouvelle CM, 1 PCI, essai de + de 24 h, ajout d'une 2
eme PCI, essai de + de 24 h etc....

Je sais bien que j'ai déjà le son d'integré, mais ça me rendait triste
d'abandonner cette carte son ... ;(

Et pour la carte réseau, c'est un peu différent, allez faire
fonctionner le réseau avec une knoppix (pour dépannage) quand il est
gérer par le nforce. J'en n'ai pas envie de me prendre la tête à
installer les drivers, si je suis sur knoppix c'est pour regler un
problème, c'est déjà frustrant comme ça, alors ajouter un autre
problème ... ! Alors qu'avec une 3COM, point de souci, c'est tout de
suite reconnu !

Pourquoi ça a fonctionnait un temps (très bien d'ailleur) ? Si
cours-circuit il y a, c'est tout de suite que ça pète.
Pourquoi, dans ce cas-là, aucun autre composant de la CM n'est touché
? Le PCI est mort et tout le petit monde de la CM s'en fout ? Pas un
bloquage, pas un bip ?

(Si je reviens au magasin, ils vont faire une sale gueule, les
vendeurs ... ;-)

un court circuit n'est pas toujours franc, un composant peut chauffer.

tu as dit que tous les PCI sont HS ensemble non ? quand aux bips et aux blocages je
n'ai pas de reponse.
ce qui n'empeche pas de soupsonner un periph plutot que la CM.

moi j'y ai passé 2 KD7a dont les PCI ne marchaient pas et j'ai pensé à
ce que tu dis à l'époque et notamment à ma terratec DMX6 Fire 24/96
monté dessus.
qui plus est malgré le changement pas une 3eme KD7a qui elle marchait
trés bien et tous les PCI operationnelle, mais un jour ma terratec est
tombé en panne en plein unreal tournament, donc sans trop tiré dessus,
pas sur elle mais sur les autres si :D
donc effectivement c'est possible mais 24H de test par carte PCI monté,
perso ça marchait bien donc avec la 3éme KD7a, plus jamais les PCI ont
merdés mais la carte son est morte 6 mois plus tard, bon garantie et
comme plus en boutique(3mois de SAV et remplacement par la soudblaster
2zs platinium pro.
j'y ai gagné mais ça m'a bien emmerdé et fait comique, maintenant ils
en ont de nouveau mais je ne sais depuis combien de temps!
c'est des problèmes pas facile à resoudre.
