Mplayer and Xine segfault at start on a MacBook Pro running sid

Hey,
Each time I try to run mplayer or xine, I get a segfault (be I root or
regular user). I'm running a Debian sid on my MacBook Pro (Santa
Rosa), with a Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT graphics card. Kernel is a
2.6.23.9, i686 (not 64 bits). X.Org X Server is 1.4.0. Both mplayer
and xine give a segfault right at starting the application. And let me
say I touched a /etc/ld.so.nohwcap before trying anything else. Such a
troubleshooting does not work in my case.
Here is the backtrace after running xine in gdb:

Sorry, I forgot to say that my mplayer is version 1:1.0.rc2svn20071207-0.2 maintained by Christian Marillat, and xine is v0.99.6cvs, libxine1 version 1.1.8-5. Thanks again.

Merci pour la piste de résolution, et désolé pour le post en anglais. Il s'agissait évidemment de signaler que je suis francophone et que par conséquent on pouvait me répondre en français, ce qui a été f ait. Je me dis que certains francophones peuvent comprendre assez bien l'anglais sans pour autant se sentir à l'aise lorsqu'il s'agit de s'exprimer dans cette langue, d'où ma démarche. Cordialement, JB
